Do you enjoy working outdoors taking care of a garden or landscaping?  The new URC Garden Club is meeting at the church this Monday, February 19th at 7:00 p.m. to discuss how to care for the landscaping around the church. Please come and join us, or contact the office for further info.

Everyone will sing and/or play during both Easter morning services at 8:45 and 10:30 a.m. (all special music will be towards the first half of the services).

• Children’s Choir practice Wednesday evenings at 6:30 p.m. (March 6, 20, 27) and Saturday, March 30 at 10:00 a.m.
• Adult and Teen Choir practice 3 Saturday’s at 10:00 a.m., (March 16, 23 & 30)
• Instrumentalists practice 2 Saturday’s at noon (March 16 & 23) and March 30 at 10:00 a.m.

All women are invited to sign up for Prayer Triads – groups of three women who commit to praying with and for each other on a regular basis for 3 months (March, April, & May). Email KristenLUmphlett@gmail.com for more information or to sign up. It is a great way to get to know other women. Please sign up by February 26th so we can make the groups.

On Wednesday, February 28, families with kids of all ages are invited to “BIG DIG” from 6:30-8:30 p.m. We will all gather together for dinner, games and Bible Study classes. Dave Hinkley will be teaching the adults. Middle and high school youth will participate in their normal DIG studies. Elementary kids will participate in age appropriate Bible Studies. Childcare will be provided up to age 4. We are also looking for helpers. Please RSVP to help us plan.

URC will be hosting the Philadelphia Conference on Reformed Theology, March 8-10. Living in an Anti-Christian World is the 51st gathering of the PCRT! This class is designed to prepare Christians to live out their faith and grow as a disciple of Christ. PMT meets Thursday mornings from 6:30-7:45 a.m. for 10 weeks. Email Chip Cogan with questions. Please sign up by January 25. More information HERE or register below.

This class reviews basic Biblical teachings on what it means to be a Christian, the nature of revelation, sin and salvation, the sacraments, worship, and faithful communion with God. The materials also cover some of the theological distinctives of the Reformed faith and church policy. All are encouraged to pop in for a refresher on any given topic, and the class is required for those seeking Church Membership. Join us February 2-4, 2024 at Maranatha near Muskegon, MI for our URC Women’s Retreat. At this year’s retreat, Mary Beeke will be speaking on the theme “A Community of Kindness” as we continue to consider Christian Hospitality and building a community of kindness. We are looking forward to sharing in times of worship and mutual encouragement!
